1. Indian Deals, a proprietorship operated by Syed Rizwan, controls personal data processed through indiandeals.com and the IndianDeals applications, except where another party independently determines its processing.

2. Information We Collect
1. Account data: name, email address, mobile number if collected for verification, profile details, login credentials or social-login identifiers.
2. Listing data: item details, descriptions, images, city/location, price, device identifiers where supplied, and seller declarations.
3. Communication data: enquiries, messages, support requests, reports and grievance correspondence where the Platform provides or records them.
4. Payment and billing data for advertising purchases: order amount, payment status, billing details, tax information and gateway references. IndianDeals should not store full card numbers, CVV, UPI PIN or banking password.
5. Technical and usage data: IP address, device/browser/app information, timestamps, logs, crash data, approximate location derived from IP, cookies, ad identifiers and interactions with features.
6. Verification and safety data: documents or information submitted to verify identity, ownership, fraud reports or legal compliance. Collect only what is reasonably necessary.
7. Information from third parties: authentication providers, payment gateways, analytics providers, fraud-prevention services, law enforcement, complainants and publicly available sources where lawful.
3. Why We Use Information
1. To create and secure accounts; publish and manage listings; enable communication; process advertising payments; provide support; and operate the Platform.
2. To verify users, prevent spam, scams, stolen or counterfeit listings, investigate reports, enforce policies and protect rights and safety.
3. To personalise and improve search, recommendations, interfaces and customer experience; analyse performance; diagnose errors; and develop features.
4. To send service messages and, with appropriate consent or lawful basis, marketing communications. Users may opt out of promotional messages.
5. To comply with law, legal process, tax/accounting requirements and valid government or law-enforcement requests; establish or defend legal claims.
6. To create aggregated or de-identified analytics that do not reasonably identify an individual.
4. Consent and Lawful Processing
1. Where consent is required, IndianDeals will provide a clear notice and seek an affirmative action. Consent can be withdrawn through available settings or by contacting support, subject to processing necessary for legal obligations or requested services.
2. Withdrawal does not affect prior lawful processing but may prevent continued provision of features that require the data.
3. Users must not provide another person’s personal data unless authorised and must ensure listing photos do not unnecessarily expose identity documents, addresses or private communications.
5. Sharing of Information
1. With other users: public profile and listing information, location at the granularity selected, and contact details where the user chooses to reveal them.
2. With service providers: cloud hosting, storage, content delivery, authentication, messaging, analytics, security, moderation, support, payment processing, email/SMS and professional advisers, under appropriate contractual controls.
3. For legal and safety purposes: courts, police, cybercrime authorities, regulators, government agencies, rights owners or affected parties where required or permitted by law and reasonably necessary.
4. For business transfers: prospective or actual buyer, investor, lender or successor in a merger, sale, restructuring or transfer, subject to confidentiality and applicable law.
5. IndianDeals does not sell personal data merely for money. Advertising or analytics technologies may involve data sharing as disclosed in the Cookie Notice and consent controls.
6. Public Listings and User Choice
1. Listings are public and may be indexed by search engines, shared by users or cached by third parties. Do not publish information you do not want publicly available.
2. IndianDeals may display approximate location rather than an exact residential address. Exact private addresses should not be placed in a listing.
3. Removing a listing stops future display on IndianDeals but cannot guarantee deletion from search-engine caches, screenshots or copies made by others.
7. Data Retention
1. IndianDeals retains data for as long as reasonably necessary for accounts, services, fraud prevention, dispute handling, legal compliance, accounting and enforcement.
2. Public listings may be retained in non-public form after deletion to investigate fraud, enforce repeat-offender rules or respond to lawful requests.
3. Payment and tax records are retained for applicable statutory periods. Security logs and consent records may be retained to demonstrate compliance.
4. When data is no longer required, IndianDeals will delete, anonymise or securely isolate it, subject to backups and legal holds.
8. Security
1. IndianDeals uses reasonable administrative, technical and organisational safeguards such as access control, encryption in transit, logging, backups, vulnerability management and service-provider review.
2. No system is completely secure. Users must protect credentials and report suspicious activity promptly.
3. Where legally required, IndianDeals will assess and notify relevant authorities and affected persons of qualifying personal-data breaches within applicable timelines.
9. Your Rights and Requests
1. Subject to applicable law, you may request access to information about your personal data, correction or updating, erasure, withdrawal of consent, grievance redressal and nomination or other rights available under law.
2. Submit requests to support@indiandeals.com from the registered email/account and provide enough information to verify identity. IndianDeals may refuse or limit requests where permitted by law, such as to protect another person, preserve evidence or comply with a legal obligation.
3. You may appeal unresolved privacy grievances to the competent authority or forum available under applicable law.
10. Children
1. The Platform is restricted to persons aged 18 or above. IndianDeals does not knowingly permit children to create accounts or list items.
2. If IndianDeals learns that a child provided personal data in breach of this restriction, it may suspend the account and delete or restrict the information, subject to legal requirements.
11. International and Service-Provider Processing
1. Service providers may process data from locations outside the user’s state or country. IndianDeals will take measures required by applicable Indian law and any government restrictions on cross-border processing.
2. Where a third-party service has its own independent purpose, its privacy policy also applies.
12. Cookies and Analytics
1. IndianDeals uses necessary storage technologies for login, security and preferences, and may use analytics or advertising technologies as described in the Cookie Notice.
2. Where required, non-essential cookies or tracking will be controlled by user consent. Browser settings may also limit cookies, but some features may not work correctly.
