Seller Rules and Listing Policy

Ownership, disclosure, image, communication and enforcement standards for every IndianDeals seller and listing.

01

1. Permitted Scope

1. Only lawful gadgets, computers, mobile devices, tablets, wearables and related accessories in categories enabled by IndianDeals may be listed.

2. IndianDeals may add, remove or restrict categories, brands, models, conditions, locations or seller types.

02

2. Ownership and Source

1. You must have lawful title or written authority to sell. Keep proof such as purchase invoice, transfer document, business inventory record or other credible evidence.

2. Do not list employer property, leased/rented devices, demo devices, insurance-claimed goods, devices held for repair, government property, lost-and-found items or property belonging to family members/customers without clear authority.

3. Disclose any outstanding finance, lien, instalment obligation, contractual restriction or third-party claim. IndianDeals may prohibit such listings entirely.

03

3. Accuracy and Mandatory Disclosure

1. Use the exact model and material specifications. Do not advertise a lower model as a higher one or conceal changed components.

2. Disclose cracks, dents, display defects, dead pixels, battery health issues, charging/network/camera/audio problems, motherboard or liquid damage, repairs, replacement/non-original parts, BIOS/MDM/activation/carrier locks and missing accessories.

3. Describe whether the device is new, open-box, used, refurbished or for parts. “New” must not be used for activated, repaired or previously owned products.

4. Disclose whether invoice, box, charger and warranty are available and whether any claimed warranty is manufacturer, seller or third-party warranty.

5. Price must be genuine. Bait prices, ₹1 placeholders, misleading instalment-only amounts and hidden mandatory charges are prohibited unless the interface explicitly supports and labels them.

04

4. Images and Personal Data

1. Upload clear images of the actual item from multiple angles. Do not use another seller’s photos without permission.

2. Do not publicly expose full identity documents, bank details, home addresses, vehicle documents, invoices containing sensitive personal data, or unmasked device credentials.

3. IndianDeals may watermark, resize, crop or compress images and may remove images that violate policy.

05

5. Communication and Sales Conduct

1. Respond honestly and do not pressure users, create false urgency, ask for OTP/PIN/password, or send malicious links.

2. Do not falsely claim that IndianDeals collects a product deposit, delivery charge, verification fee or insurance fee.

3. Provide a receipt where appropriate and honour any written warranty, return or condition promise you voluntarily give to the buyer.

4. Comply with tax, invoicing, consumer, trade, import and business obligations applicable to you. Business sellers must not misrepresent themselves as private individuals to avoid legal duties.

06

6. Enforcement

1. IndianDeals may ask for ownership or identity proof, hide a listing during review, share relevant information with law enforcement where lawful, and suspend related accounts.

2. Repeated low-quality, duplicate, misleading or non-responsive listings may be restricted even if no single listing is clearly illegal.

3. Advertising fees may be forfeited where a paid listing is removed for seller violation, except where law requires otherwise.
