- Be cautious of prices that appear unrealistically low.
- Ask for recent photos, condition details and purchase documentation.
- Do not pay an advance to reserve an item.

During the meeting
- Meet during daylight in a busy public place.
- Bring someone you trust for high-value transactions.
- Test calls, cameras, ports, charging, display, battery and connectivity.
- Check IMEI or serial details against the device and invoice without publishing them publicly.
- Confirm that activation locks and previous accounts have been removed.
Payment safety
- Pay only after inspection and agreement.
- Verify the recipient before completing a digital payment.
- Do not share OTPs, UPI PINs, CVVs or screen-sharing access.
- Treat courier, escrow or protection claims as suspicious unless IndianDeals officially introduces and documents such a service.
If something feels wrong
Stop the transaction, preserve messages and payment evidence, report the listing and contact the appropriate bank or law-enforcement channel when necessary.
